Australia To Impose Hefty Penalties For Data Breaches Following Major Cyberattacks

Australia will introduce laws to parliament to increase penalties for companies subject to major data breaches, AttorneyGeneral Mark Dreyfus said, after highprofile cyberattacks hit millions of Australians in recent weeks.
