Chrome OS Systems Outsold MacOS Devices in 2020, Windows Retains Top Spot: IDC Report

Chrome OS captured a 10.8 percent market share in 2020, followed by MacOS, which took a 7.5 percent market share. Windows remained the most-used operating system with an 80.5 percent market share in 2020.
